In the early 1940s, Willy Breitling was already dreaming of a time after the war, when utility would give way to unbridled optimism. He began designing a chronograph that would be functional but also undeniably elegant and infinitely wearable-in his words, "the unmistakable stamp of impeccable taste." He called this new line the Premier. To create its modern Premier, Breitling preserved distinctive vintage-Premier details, including the smooth fixed bezel, twin-register dial, streamlined rectangular pushers and appied Arabic numerals.
